DVB-ASI / DVB-SDI interfaces

ASI and SDI are common DVB interfaces between professional equipments like multiplexers, encoders, modulators, analyzers, conditional access systems etc. There are different products available with one or more inputs and outputs and in 2 major form factors USB adapters or PCI boards.

USB to ASI/SDI "Fantasi" boxes:

USB boxes are very popular because of its portability and no need for installation. Technicians can easilly analyze MPEG TS stream using notebook and Fantasi adapter just connecting to USB port in the notebook.

PCI-Express to ASI/SDI boards:

PCI-Express "PCI-e" is newer standard of PCI BUS. Over time Dektec continuosly replaces older PCI-X board with PCI-e ones. PCI board are built-in IO in multiplexers, modulators, IPEs etc. Different models provide different number of input and output ports.
